We’re back in Orlando… we decided to try a few new places, one of those being Outback Steakhouse as we heard about their ‘Blooming Onion’, so we had to give it a try…

We arrived at the restaurant and were greeted by a lovely young lady who asked how we were doing and showed us to our table. She told us who our server was going to be and handed us the menu.

Glancing over the menu they had nice range of food to suit even the fussiest of eaters.

Our server arrived to take our order. She was very friendly and helpful, able to answer questions we had, as well as recommending extras.

We ordered from the ‘set menu’ and decided to go with the Blooming Onion as a starter followed by the Sirloin Steak for the entree (cooked med-rare).
As with some of the other restaurants in Orlando, it comes with free soup or salad to start. We had one soup (Signature Baked Potato) and one salad (Cesar) as there were two of us. 
Shortly after placing our order our drinks arrived (Coke), as well as a freshly baked mini loaf of bread with butter arrived for us to snack on while our starters were being prepared, and it tasted amazing.

After a short time the Blooming Onion arrived, and it looked so tasty. When we tried it we were not disappointed. It tasted as good as it looked, we highly recommend you giving it a try. It was so good that we forgot to take a photo before tucking in to it, sorry, but it really was that good!

The soup and salad both were full of flavour and tasted really fresh.

On to the mains, and the steak was cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth. It was bursting with flavour, and came with fries, asparagus and a tomato ketchup dip.

Would we go back?
Definitely, without a doubt. The whole experience was great from start to finish and we can’t wait to go back. Prices were very reasonable as we ordered from the set-menu, also selected drinks are re-fillable.
